Why the directory exists
Started by a life coach
Life Coach Locator was started in 2025 by DK, a life coach in Chandler, Arizona. The goal was to make it easier for a person to find the right coach for the issue they want to address—even when the best-fit coach lives somewhere else.
The directory was also designed to give coaches a public profile they can use as a shareable website link. A visitor in Belize, for example, may discover a coach in Kansas whose specialty, format, and approach fit the visitor's goal. Location is one comparison factor; it is not treated as proof of fit.

How editorial review works
Index-ready decision resources identify an intended audience and decision purpose. We review commercial claims, coaching-versus-clinical boundaries, source relevance, internal originality, accessibility, links, and whether interactive tools accurately describe what they do.
A number from the directory is publishable only when its underlying field, cohort, calculation, snapshot date, and limitation can be stated. Sparse inquiry, testimonial, or booking data is kept internal until it supports a responsible aggregate.
What coach profiles mean
Coaches create and maintain their profiles. Credentials, education, experience, prices, availability, specialties, testimonials, and results are self-reported unless a field explicitly says it was independently verified.
Directory placement is not an endorsement. Visitors should verify material qualifications, current availability, service area, price, cancellation terms, and scope directly with the coach before committing.
Corrections, independence, and privacy
We correct factual errors when credible evidence supports a change. Commercial relationships, referrals, and directory participation do not give a coach control over editorial conclusions.
Editorial briefs created from inquiry trends use aggregated, privacy-reduced signals rather than names, contact details, or raw customer messages. Small cohorts and unverified outcome claims are not converted into promotional percentages.
