These terms govern your access to and use of Life Coach Locator. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using the site.
Effective date
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you and Life Coach Locator ("we," "us," or "our") regarding lifecoachlocator.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Last updated: March 2026.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. For questions, contact info@lifecoachlocator.com.
1. Acceptance of terms
You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes the organization.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Your continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires a different form of consent.
2. Description of the service
Life Coach Locator operates a free online directory that helps people discover life coaches worldwide. Coaches may create and manage profiles, publish descriptive content (such as bios, specialties, blog posts, and service listings), and make themselves discoverable to visitors. The Service is a platform for information and discovery; we do not provide coaching, therapy, or medical services, and we are not a party to any agreement between coaches and their clients.
We may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits availability.
3. Account registration
Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to update it as needed. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at info@lifecoachlocator.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Coaches must not impersonate another person or misrepresent qualifications, affiliations, or the nature of their practice. Listings should reflect genuine coaching or related professional services you are authorized to offer in the jurisdictions where you operate. You remain solely responsible for compliance with licensing, certification, advertising, and professional conduct rules that apply to you.
4. User responsibilities and acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others; post hateful, violent, or sexually exploitative content; or engage in stalking or abuse directed at users or our staff.
- Make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about your credentials, results, or the benefits of coaching, including claims that could confuse coaching with regulated mental health or medical treatment where that is not accurate.
- Upload malware, scrape or overload our systems without permission, circumvent security measures, or attempt unauthorized access to data or accounts.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications in bulk, or to collect personal information from users without a lawful basis and appropriate notice.
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement. We reserve the right to remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and take other appropriate action at our discretion, with or without notice, where we believe these Terms or the law have been violated or where necessary to protect the Service or third parties.
5. Content ownership and license
You retain ownership of text, images, and other materials you submit to the Service ("Your Content"), subject to the rights you grant us below. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
By submitting Your Content, you grant Life Coach Locator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and create technical copies (such as cached or backup copies) of Your Content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Service—including displaying your profile and related listings to visitors, formatting content for different devices, and using de-identified or aggregated statistics derived from usage of the platform.
You may remove much of Your Content by editing or deleting your profile or account, subject to reasonable retention for backups, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. The Service's look-and-feel, software, trademarks, and other proprietary elements (excluding Your Content) are owned by Life Coach Locator or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.
6. Disclaimer of warranties and independent coaches
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Life Coach Locator is a directory platform. We do not vet, credential, endorse, recommend, or supervise coaches listed on the Service, and inclusion in the directory does not constitute approval of any coach's skills, ethics, or suitability for your needs. Coaches are independent professionals; they are not employees, agents, or partners of Life Coach Locator unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of directory information, which is supplied by listing owners. You are solely responsible for evaluating coaches and for any engagement, payment, or professional relationship you enter into with a coach. Coaching is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy where licensed treatment is required, or emergency services. Seek appropriate professional help in crisis situations.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LIFE COACH LOCATOR, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, ANY CONTENT OR CONDUCT OF THIRD PARTIES ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICE, OR ANY COACHING OR OTHER SERVICES ARRANGED THROUGH CONTACT INITIATED VIA THE DIRECTORY, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Life Coach Locator and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms other users, us, or third parties, or for other operational or legal reasons. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, license grants where applicable, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law—shall survive.
10. Modification of terms
We may modify these Terms periodically as described in Section 1. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that term or any other term.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Life Coach Locator primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require application of another jurisdiction's laws, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply and cannot be waived.
Subject to applicable law, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall lie in the state and federal courts located in that State, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this Section limits either party's right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
12. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Life Coach Locator regarding the Service. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
