About
My path to coaching has been shaped by change, uncertainty, and a deep curiosity about what helps us understand ourselves and live more consciously. Born in Beirut during the civil war, I experienced change from an early age and later built my life across different countries, cultures, careers, and communities. Along the way, I became increasingly interested in the patterns we carry with us: how our experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the choices we make.
Mindfulness became an important part of that journey. Through years of personal practice, I learned that slowing down and turning toward our experiences with curiosity rather than judgment can create space for something different to emerge. It doesn't mean having everything figured out. For me, it means learning to meet life more honestly and developing greater trust in our ability to navigate it.
That eventually led me to coaching. I trained in the Co-Active approach and am currently completing the Co-Active Certification Program, while continuing to deepen my mindfulness practice. My coaching brings these two worlds together. I don't believe my role is to tell you how to live your life or give you a ready-made solution. Instead, I offer a supportive, curious, and sometimes challenging space where we can explore what is happening beneath the surface and uncover what you already know — or are beginning to discover — about yourself.
I work especially well with reflective people who find themselves questioning old patterns, navigating personal or professional transitions, exploring relationships and identity, or simply sensing that something in their life needs to change. Clients can expect me to listen deeply, ask questions that invite reflection, and meet what emerges without judgment.
Ultimately, my coaching is about helping you understand yourself more clearly and move forward with greater awareness, clarity, and self-trust; not toward somebody else's idea of who you should become, but toward a life that feels increasingly your own.

What sets me apart
Why Choose Ashraf
I bring together Co-Active coaching and mindfulness with a perspective shaped by living across different countries, cultures, and life experiences. This allows me to meet people with openness and curiosity, without assuming there is one right way to live, grow, or move forward.
My approach goes beyond simply setting goals and tracking progress. I create space to explore what sits underneath a challenge — the patterns, beliefs, emotions, values, and perspectives that may be shaping it. At times I'll gently challenge you; at others, I'll invite you to slow down and listen more closely to yourself.
Above all, I believe meaningful change comes not from becoming someone else, but from developing greater awareness, clarity, and trust in who you already are.
Methodology
My Coaching Approach
My approach combines Co-Active coaching with mindfulness, creating a space that is reflective, experiential, and centered around you. Co-Active coaching starts from the belief that you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. Rather than positioning me as the person with the answers, it allows us to work together to uncover your own perspectives, values, choices, and possibilities.
A typical session begins with what is most present for you. You might arrive with a specific challenge, decision, recurring pattern, relationship dynamic, or simply a feeling that something isn't quite right. From there, we explore not only what is happening, but what may be underneath it. I may ask questions, reflect what I'm noticing, challenge an assumption, invite you to look at something from a different perspective, or simply create space for you to stay with something that needs more attention.
Mindfulness is woven naturally into the process. When helpful, we might slow down, notice what is happening in the present moment, connect with the body, or use a short mindfulness practice to explore an experience beyond thinking about it intellectually. There is no requirement to have any previous experience with meditation or mindfulness.
Sessions don't follow a rigid formula because different moments call for different approaches. Some may be quiet and reflective; others energetic, creative, or challenging. What remains consistent is a confidential, non-judgmental space where you can explore openly and be met with curiosity.
The aim isn't to leave every session with a perfect answer or another list of things to accomplish. Sometimes there will be a clear action or commitment; other times, the shift is a new perspective, deeper awareness, or greater clarity about what you want. Over time, our work is about helping you recognize your patterns, make more conscious choices, and develop greater trust in your own ability to navigate your life.

Who I Help
I don't believe there is one particular type of person who is an ideal coaching client. People come to coaching at different stages of life, with different experiences, questions, challenges, and hopes for what they would like to change or understand.
What matters most is a willingness to show up with curiosity and openness. You don't need to know exactly what you want, have a clearly defined goal, or arrive with everything figured out. Sometimes knowing that something feels stuck, uncertain, or ready to change is enough of a place to begin.
I work with people exploring both personal and professional areas of life — from relationships, confidence, identity, boundaries, and recurring patterns to career decisions, transitions, purpose, and personal growth. You may be navigating something difficult, standing at a crossroads, or simply wanting to understand yourself better and live more intentionally.
Wherever you're starting from, coaching is a space we shape together around you, your experience, and what matters to you.
