About

My approach blends structured leadership development with deep emotional intelligence coaching, specifically tailored for youth and teenagers. I don’t just teach confidence—I help young people build it from within through practical tools, reflection and real-life application.

With a strong background in corporate training and facilitation, I bring proven adult learning methodologies into youth development, making my programs both impactful and results-driven. I focus on transformation that is measurable, sustainable, and relevant to today’s generation.

Methodology

My Coaching Approach

My coaching methodology is grounded in the belief that self-leadership is built, not taught. I use a structured yet highly interactive approach that combines emotional intelligence, reflective learning, and real-world application.

I guide youth and teenagers through a process of:

Building self-awareness (understanding thoughts, emotions, and behaviour patterns)

Strengthening self-regulation (managing emotions and responses)

Developing confidence through action

Practising decision-making and accountability

Translating learning into daily life behaviour change

My approach is experiential, not theoretical—young people learn by doing, reflecting, and applying.

Framework: The SELF-LEADERSHIP GROWTH MODEL

I use a practical, step-by-step framework designed to create measurable mindset and behaviour shifts:

S – Self-Awareness

Understanding who I am, my strengths, emotions, triggers, and current mindset.

E – Emotional Intelligence

Learning to recognise, understand, and manage emotions effectively.

L – Limit-Breaking Beliefs

Identifying self-doubt, fear-based thinking, and replacing limiting beliefs with empowering ones.

F – Focus & Responsibility

Building discipline, accountability, and goal clarity.

L – Leadership in Action

Practising communication, decision-making, and confidence in real scenarios.

E – Empowered Identity

Developing a strong sense of self-worth, confidence, and purpose.

This framework helps youth move from self-doubt → self-awareness → confident action → leadership identity.

What a Typical Session Looks Like

Each session is structured, interactive, and highly engaging to suit youth attention spans and learning styles.

  1. Check-in & Emotional Temperature (5–10 mins)

A simple reflective start to help participants identify how they are feeling and what mindset they are bringing into the session.

  1. Core Theme Input (10–15 mins)

A focused teaching segment on the key topic (e.g., confidence, emotional control, decision-making, self-talk).

  1. Interactive Activity (15–25 mins)

Group discussions, role plays, scenario-based learning, or self-reflection exercises to apply the concept in real time.

  1. Personal Reflection (5–10 mins)

Guided journaling or reflection questions to help internalise learning.

  1. Action Commitment (5 mins)

Each participant identifies one practical action they will apply in school, home, or social situations.

  1. Closing Reinforcement

A short reinforcement of key learning and motivation to apply it immediately in daily life.

Who I Help

Who I Work Best With

I work best with youth and teenagers (typically ages 10–18) who are at a key stage of forming identity, confidence, and direction in life. They may be high-potential but under-confident, or bright and capable but struggling to express themselves, stay motivated, or manage emotions effectively.

I also work closely with schools, educators, and parents who recognise that academic success alone is not enough and young people also need strong self-leadership and emotional intelligence to thrive in today’s world.

My programs are especially effective for:

Students who are quiet, withdrawn, or lack confidence

Teens who struggle with motivation or focus

High-performing students who experience pressure or anxiety

Youth who find it difficult to manage emotions or relationships

Young people who have potential but lack direction or self-belief

Common Challenges They Face

Many of the young people I work with experience internal struggles that are often not immediately visible:

Low self-confidence and fear of speaking up

Overthinking and self-doubt

Difficulty managing emotions (anger, anxiety, frustration)

Peer pressure and comparison with others

Lack of motivation or consistency

Fear of failure or making mistakes

Poor communication and reluctance to express themselves

Feeling “not good enough” despite having ability

These challenges often affect not just academic performance, but also behaviour, relationships, and overall well-being.

The Transformation They Are Looking For

The transformation is not just behavioural—it is identity-based.

Through my coaching, young people move from:

Self-doubt → Self-belief

Silence → Confident expression

Emotional reactivity → Emotional control

Fear of failure → Willingness to try

Low motivation → Purpose-driven action

Dependence → Self-leadership

They begin to:

Understand and trust themselves

Speak with confidence and clarity

Take responsibility for their choices

Handle challenges with resilience

Build healthier relationships

Develop a stronger sense of identity and direction

Ultimately, they don’t just “behave better” ,they think differently, feel stronger, and lead themselves with confidence in everyday life.
