This page concerns Lubumbashi, capital of Haut-Katanga Province in southeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. The DRC Interior Ministry's current province list names Lubumbashi as Haut-Katanga's capital, and the provincial government explains that it became the new province's seat after the 2015 reorganization of the former Katanga. That distinction prevents a common geography error: conflict or development evidence from North Kivu, South Kivu, Ituri, Tanganyika, Haut-Lomami, Kinshasa, or the country as a whole cannot automatically be presented as Lubumbashi evidence. Provincial sources describe Lubumbashi's copper-linked history and current infrastructure, but they do not prove coaching demand, a safe route, a vacancy, salary, customer, power supply, network connection, or personal outcome.
Current official travel guidance must still shape service design. The U.S. State Department's June 2026 advisory assigns the DRC Level 4 because of crime, unrest, terrorism, kidnapping, and health risks. The UK's advice, current in August 2026, differentiates regional warnings while specifically noting street-robbery risk in Lubumbashi and the possibility that unrest can disrupt roads, flights, internet, mobile networks, and public services. These advisories are written for travelers and do not identify a resident's immediate risk. They support a narrow rule: coaching must never encourage travel, demonstrations, photography, evasion, public disclosure, or the sharing of live location, political identity, security details, employer records, banking information, or third-party data.
These coach-reported fields do not prove French, Swahili, or another language; DRC coverage; lawful service; platform or payment access; sanctions screening; privacy; credentials; availability; or outcomes. Confirm each item directly and immediately before service. Use minimum-data communication, no recording by default, a neutral calendar label, an interruption-without-penalty rule, and a low-data backup only if lawful and safe. Coaching cannot replace emergency, medical, psychological, trauma, humanitarian, protection, legal, security, evacuation, or financial help.
A regional-capital label means Lubumbashi is an administrative center, not that every 14 coach meets there.
Virtual coaching can be a fit when you want a specialist who is not based in your city. In-person coaching requires the coach to actually serve that place. A country-level or international profile is not a local listing.
If an exact-city coach is not shown, explore coaches who work virtually with clients in this country. That is not the same as a local in-person listing.
