Tena's municipal 2023–2027 development and land-use plan identifies nature and cultural tourism, environmentally responsible economic activity, entrepreneurship training, agriculture, and preservation of natural and cultural heritage as public priorities. It also recorded a 2022 adequate-employment baseline and set a future target. Those are planning facts for the canton, not proof that a vacancy, course, grant, customer, permit, land right, tourism route, or income opportunity is available to a particular person today. Before paying for private coaching, verify current programmes, eligibility, dates, language, fees, permits, land-use rules, environmental duties, community consent, and complaints directly with the municipality and responsible Ecuadorian institutions.
Municipal reporting shows budgeted tourism promotion, cultural events, signage, and citizen training, while a 2025 ordinance process addressed tourism activities. A budget line or ordinance is not evidence that money was fully spent, that a business is licensed, or that visitor demand will support an offer. Coaching can help a person clarify a career choice, prepare questions, map stakeholders, or design a small reversible customer test.
