This route covers the autonomous City of Tangerang in Banten. BPS Kota Tangerang's February 2026 annual publication supplies city-level geography, government, and socioeconomic denominators. It does not cover the separate Tangerang Regency or the separate City of South Tangerang, even when news or businesses use the broader Tangerang name. This guide keeps all three jurisdictions separate.
