Drammen is a current Norwegian municipality in Buskerud and also names a Statistics Norway urban settlement. The current municipality was created on 1 January 2020 by merging former Drammen, Nedre Eiker, and Svelvik. Statistics Norway records that boundary change, while its tettsted statistics define dynamic built-up areas independently of administrative borders. The Drammen urban settlement and municipality therefore have different totals and territory.
