Eldoret was formally conferred city status on August 15, 2024 and is now administered as the City of Eldoret within Uasin Gishu County. Its official city platform describes city services, business permits, planning, land rates, public participation, and an investor desk. County plans, agricultural programs, and statistics often cover all Uasin Gishu, including areas outside the city. Generated population estimates are not used here. A coach should identify whether evidence is city, former municipality, county, North Rift, or national and must not infer a resident's ward, livelihood, income, ethnic identity, athletic ability, education, or service access from a public plan.
