Local context
Khartoum remains Sudan's capital city and is distinct from the wider Khartoum State and the adjoining cities of Omdurman and Khartoum North. Current population estimates are unsafe to present as settled city facts because conflict since April 2023 has caused mass displacement and severe data disruption. As of August 27, 2026, this guide makes no claim that travel, an in-person meeting, a building, transport, power, communications, banking, health services, or any other infrastructure is safe, accessible, lawful, or operating.
The United Nations reported in April 2026 that nearly 34 million people across Sudan needed humanitarian assistance and described repeated damage to homes, markets, hospitals, and schools. UNESCO reported in June 2026 severe national education disruption and damage to higher-education infrastructure, including Khartoum. Those facts establish a crisis boundary, not a coaching market or a description of every person connected to the city. Immediate safety, food, water, shelter, medical, mental-health, protection, humanitarian, evacuation, legal, or security needs take priority and belong with qualified services, not a coach.
Thirty-seven were marked international, and all 37 were also marked accepting and virtual-or-both. English appeared on all 45 profiles. These fields do not prove current availability, lawful service coverage, fluency, identity, qualifications, or fit. Any comparison must be remote-first and conditional. An international profile does not prove lawful Sudan coverage, present availability, platform or payment functionality, identity, privacy, sanctions compliance, or fitness for conflict-related circumstances. The coach and client must independently verify lawful service, sanctions and restricted-party obligations, payment and platform rules, present location, minimum necessary data, and referral boundaries without seeking workarounds. Coaching may support a modest non-clinical goal when appropriate; it cannot establish safety, arrange aid or movement, diagnose or treat trauma, guarantee confidentiality or continuity, or advise on sanctions, law, security, medicine, or crisis response.
A capital-city search can tempt people to assume walk-in local offices. Confirm the coach’s actual in-person service area in Khartoum before treating a national profile as local.
Virtual coaching can be a fit when you want a specialist who is not based in your city. In-person coaching requires the coach to actually serve that place. A country-level or international profile is not a local listing.
