Zonguldak is a current municipality and provincial center on Türkiye's western Black Sea coast. The municipality's official contact page places the belediye in Zonguldak Merkez, while the Western Black Sea Development Agency, BAKKA, works across the broader TR81 region of Zonguldak, Karabük, and Bartın. Those are different denominators. A regional plan, provincial statistic, district table, university catchment, or three-province program cannot be relabeled as a measurement of Zonguldak city.
